The mission of Kahl Home is to operate up-to-date homes for the aged. To bring Christ's love to each person by bringing His compassion, His interest, His loving care, and His warmth morning, noon, and night. We do this by identifying the needs of each individual, initiating programs that meet their individual needs all while bringing dignity to them.
Description:
The Kahl Home for the Aged and Infirm is a not-for-profit, 132 bed facility that provides skilled, rehabilitative and intermediate levels of care to the elderly population of the Quad Cities. The Carmelite Sisters along with their staff serve the elderly of our community regardless of race, nationality, disability, or religious affiliation. We, at the Kahl Home, believe that each individual is special and unique, therefore we work together to provide quality care for the whole person, body, mind, and soul. We value each person as an individual and we embrace them as our extended family, striving all the while to create a personal community that our elderly and their families can "Kahl" home. We regard our home as a community and we encourage the members of our community to take on an active role.
