Family Resources, Inc. is a not-for-profit social service agency with roots dating back to 1849. The services we provide have evolved based on the needs of our local communities and align with our mission. Our more than 30 programs span the areas of child welfare and juvenile justice, mental health, victim services, and education. Family Resources, Inc. is located in both the Iowa and Illinois Quad Cities and Muscatine, Iowa. We believe healthy families are the backbone of our community and the strength of our future.

History:
In 1849 a group called the Ladies Benevolent Society was formed to provide for the care of the immigrant families of Davenport. Today, more than 160 years later, Family Resources, Inc. is continuing their work.

During the last decade of the century and into the new millennium, Family Resources, Inc. has continued its pattern of program and service development. With each evolution of this agency, programs have moved away from providing for the physical/material needs and have increasingly focused on services designed "to improve family life and the conditions which impact upon them." Programs have evolved to incorporate preventive services, as well as responsive services that are used after a crisis has occurred.
