Volunteer Opportunity - Library Cart Organizer

Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Want to see a behind-the-scenes look at the Library? Then this volunteer position is for you! When library materials are returned, items are placed on Library Carts in our Circulation Department. The materials on these carts are then sorted and put in alphabetical or numerical order. The Library needs volunteers to do this and be Cart Organizers. Many of our Cart Organizers find they love alphabetizing and putting carts in order so much, that they Adopt-a-Shelf as well. This opportunity is available at all MCPL locations, so join the MCPL Volunteer Program and find out if you love it as much as they do!

Ability to push and pull library carts. A firm knowledge of an alpha/numeric system also necessary. Volunteers younger than age 12 can volunteer with their family and need to be supervised at all times.
