Plymouth Adult Basic Education joins Plymouth Community Schools in the commitment to doing whatever it takes to maximize academic and social achievement of every individual as measured by state and community standards.
Description:
Plymouth Adult Basic Education offers free classes for academic skills for GED preparation, employment skills,and post secondary education preparation or advanced training. Free ESL (English Second Language) classes are available for non English language residents to learn skills in reading, listening, math, critical thinking and citizenship preparation. All classes provide essential life skills for youth and adults. The program offers an non traditional setting for all the students to feel welcomed and to gain a sense of community. Students are given encouragement and confidence to achieve their goals.
History:
Plymouth Adult Basic Education has served the community since the1970's by offering free classes to guide adults to achieve their academic and employment goals.
