Volunteers are needed for a variety of responsibilities, both at the Ballard Center (708 Elm St.) and Penn House (1035 Pennsylvania) to help with Human Services. The following are some of the common volunteer activities: • Sorting donated clothing • Processing donation receipts • Stocking food pantry shelves • Filling food pantry orders • Light maintenance and cleaning • Answering phones and data entry • Client intake (for volunteers that are comfortable and fully trained)

For volunteer work in the food and clothing pantries, the individual should be able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds with relative ease. This opportunity is sponsored by: Ballard Community Services
