Volunteer Opportunity - Healthy Kids, Healthy Communities 
Volunteer Opportunity Details:
Healthy Kids, Healthy Communities is an afterschool program focused on empowering children to learn about healthy eating and physical activity. AmeriCorps members and volunteers work together to teach a series of noncompetitive, hands-on lessons including basic nutrition, making healthy snacks, and playing games to boost cardiovascular endurance and promote lifelong fitness. Volunteers must submit a reference and undergo a background check, as well as participate in training before working with Healthy Kids, Healthy Communities.
