About VolunteerNRV

Powered by Truist

Volunteer NRV, a collaborative community service program of your local United Way, helps connect individuals, businesses, and groups to volunteer opportunities with charities and non-profits serving the New River Valley.  It's also an easy way to find out the kinds of "things" non-profits need in the NRV, and donate goods to them.  It can help people find Board service opportunities with local chairities, and get folks connected with disaster service opportunities BEFORE disaster strikes our community.

VolunteerNRV is a collaborative program of the United Way of Montgomery, Radford and Floyd that is advised by the VolunteerNRV Collaborative, a consortium of NRV organizations and agencies that recruit or use volunteers in the New River Valley. Our Partners are: The Human Relations Council of Montgomery Country, New River Community College, Radford University, Retired and Senior Volunteer Programs of Montgomery, Radford and Floyd, Virginia Alcohol Safety Action Programs, Virginia Tech Engage and the YMCA of Virginia Tech. The program serves the counties of Floyd, Giles, Montgomery, and Pulaski; in addition to the City of Radford. By providing information related to volunteer opportunities and other charitable needs, VolunteerNRV helps connect individuals, volunteer organizations, businesses and other groups in the New River Valley.

We hope you'll join the VolunteerNRV network and begin getting involved in your community!
