Eastside Legal Assistance Program (ELAP) is a non-profit organization dedicated to making the legal system more accessible to those most in need by providing free or low-cost yet high quality civil legal services to low-income residents of East and Northeast King County, Washington and domestic violence legal aid throughout King County.

ELAP provides civil legal services through a variety of projects, including 22 monthly advice/consultation clinics (free 30 or 45 minute attorney consultation), the Wills Project (free wills, physician's directive, durable power of attorney), Domestic Violence Legal Project (DVLP) (provides free emergency assistance to abuse victims anywhere in King County), community educational lectures, Client-Plus Services and Direct Representation in the form of full and limited scope representation. ELAP services are provided at a variety of Eastside location and rely on volunteer attorneys and support volunteers to provide services and oversee delivery.

ELAP was incorporated as a non-profit in 1989. Since that time it has continuously expanded its services to low income residents needing civil legal assistance. Over 3,000 people contact ELAP each year for assistance. ELAP's volunteer attorneys provide over $1.2 million worth of donated services each year. The agency is funded by King County, the Legal Foundation of Washington; special events and through private donations.
