Serve as a disaster relief operations volunteer during times of national disaster. Assignment durations vary but generally exceed 2 weeks per disaster. Volunteers keep their local chapter apprised of their availability for disaster assignments through email and an on-line database. Requires a commitment to travel and to serve others as a Red Cross Disaster Volunteer.
