United Way of the Greater Seacoast Volunteer Action Center
SkillsMatch Program for pro bono volunteering.
How does Skillsmatch work? Volunteers may view current and/or sample projects and self-select to register for a specific project. A staff member from United Way's Volunteer Action Center (VAC) will then connect with the volunteer.
What if there are no current project matches? The volunteer will see a link to an on-line survey to assess the volunteer's skills and interests. VAC staff will then work with the volunteer to find a suitable project.
What support is available from United Way? You will find a toolkit below with information and templates to assist as you move forward with your project. The volunteer and agency are asked to complete the required Agency/Volunteer/UWGS Agreement, and return it it to United Way so that we may provide assistance and/or track your progress.
To get started, view current and sample projects.
For information and/or assistance, please contact Robin Albert, Director, Volunteer Action Center.
