In Everybody Wins! CT’s Power Lunch program, each volunteer visits a public school to read with a child once weekly at lunchtime. Over the course of the school year, they read and discuss books with their “reading buddies”, generating enthusiasm for books and reading. Many mentors read with the same. . . more
You may provide a resource once a week that will benefit our LITs personally and/or professionally. Resources facilitator share specific skills or hobbies with LITs, while serving as positive role models to our youth. Volunteer resource facilitators are needed for the following areas: Drama, Health/Wellness, and Computer Literacy. more
