YMCA Southcoast has been working to meet the health and social service needs of families throughout the Southcoast area for nearly 150 years.

There are currently five branch sites: the Dartmouth YMCA, Fall River YMCA, New Bedford YMCA, Mattapoisett YMCA and the Gleason Family YMCA in Wareham, serving more than 16,000 members. YMCAs embrace people of all ages, incomes, abilities, religions and ethnic backgrounds and build strong kids, strong families and strong communities.

The Sharing the Harvest project began in 2006 at the Dartmouth YMCA.
