Dane County Parent Council is a community-based, non-profit agency delivering a variety of child development and family support programming that enhances the well-being and future success of children and families. Join our team supporting low-income pre-school children and their families through fun learning activities in our Head Start classrooms. Our focus is on helping children become life-long learners, preparing them for kindergarten and beyond, by providing the highest quality care. Equally important is our commitment to supporting their parents, resulting in resilient families and strong communities in Dane and Green Counties.

There are a variety of opportunities for volunteers to make a difference through services that help children and parents learn and grow together. We hope you will join us as you share your time and talents to benefit Dane County Parent Council and the community.

Volunteer opportunities are available across Madison, Dane and Green Counties!

Opportunities include working with children and families in the Preschool classrooms, Infant Toddler classrooms, at Family Fun Nights, After-School and evening Childcare Programs, providing Clerical Support, Translating/Interpreting and in the Food Service area.
