CICOA serves the elderly and disabled of any age in Marion County and the surrounding counties. We are always in need of volunteers willing to work in our office area doing various tasks such as filing, telephone calls and other office activities.

Provide residents an opportunity to read books on tape to their children and grandchildren, provide weekly curriculum (6 weeks total) on genres, reading strategies, and run discussion groups. There are many opportunities to work with our children. Classroom volunteers are always needed - extra laps for reading, extra people to talk to, people to play with, etc. Volunteers are also needed for field trips - we require a 2:1 child to adult ratio. more
