Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Provide support to the Development department by assisting with fund-raising event team registrations, event information and communication. Making regular phone calls to help with the recruitment and fundraising of specific events, as well as reminder calls and thank you calls. Weekly phone calls are to be made to recruit participation in MS Walk and Bike events. Answering questions and providing accurate and helpful information are very much a part of this position. Working from home is an option once initial training is completed.

Orientation and training will be required prior to beginning the work. Professional phone skills and strong interpersonal skills are a necessity. Being organized and paying attention to details are expected. A working knowledge of Microsoft Word and the Internet is also required.
