UK Beta Alpha Psi is an accounting fraternity with over 250 chapters and 200,000 members across the nation.

Description:
First, Beta Alpha Psi is an honorary organization recognizing students who have excelled
scholastically with special emphasis on achievements within the accounting curriculum.

Second, Beta Alpha Psi is an accounting organization sponsoring programs designed to
prepare the student for his/her transition into the professional world. These programs allow
members to interact with practicing accountants in both professional and social environments.

Third, Beta Alpha Psi is a service organization, serving not only members but other
accounting students, campus organizations, and the community.

Finally, Beta Alpha Psi is a social organization, providing opportunities to interact socially with professionals in the field. Other activities are planned exclusively for members. Therefore, it is imperative that we require attendance and participation from every member and pledge.

History:
Beta Alpha Psi was founded in 1919 at the University of Illinois.
