Volunteer Opportunity - Crisis Nursery Volunteer

Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Our Crisis Nursery provides a safe haven for children at risk of abuse or neglect. Open 24 hours a day, seven days a week to assist stressed and in-need families facing an unexpected crisis. Volunteers are needed Monday through Friday anytime between 8:00 am and 8:00 pm. The main duty of our volunteers is to take care of the children and babies. This may include feeding, playtime, reading books and baths etc. When children are not scheduled, we need help cleaning toys and organizing the Nursery.

Volunteers must be 21 years of age. All volunteers must go through a screening and background check. They must attend an orientation and complete a packet of paperwork, which includes health screen, TB test, background checks and fingerprinting.
