Volunteer Opportunity - Short Term Volunteering

Volunteer Opportunity Details:

For individuals 55+ - a variety of temporary and sporadic one time volunteer opportunities are available through YWCA-RSVP in over 90 not-for-profit agencies in the Bloomington-Normal area. The volunteer tasks typically take 3 hours in the morning or afternoon. The service is usually provided for the organization rather than directly to a client or person. This interesting, fun service is generally done with a small group of other volunteers. Examples might be: special event hosting, phone answering, sorting & organizing, clerical, simple sewing, computer data entry, mailings, food serving, taking reservations and much more.

For people aged 55 and older, very minimal training is required.
