Help Set A World Record for Pet Adoption

HSSM is attempting a Guinness World Record for the most sheltered animals adopted in 24-hour period. Be a part of this monumental day!

The fun starts at 10:00 am Saturday, August 6 and goes continuously until 9:59 am Sunday, August 7.

There are spots open for Adoption Advocates and Adoption Processors in all shifts.

Adoption Advocates: These individuals will match animals with adopters to ensure a good fit for both. These people will handle animals directly, deal with the public to ensure good matches, and will need a basic understanding of HSSM policy.

Adoption Processors: These individuals will walk adopters through the paperwork and details of the adoption process. Each adoption processor must be computer literate, understand basic processes in HSSM's PetPoint software, and be familiar with HSSM's policies.

Shifts are as follows:

10am-2pm
2pm-8pm
8pm-2am
2am-6am
6am-10am

 

Any and All volunteers will be required to complete training specific to your position.

All will need to complete training BEFORE August 6.
