The Beautification Committee at Kiker Elementary in Southwest Austin is looking for volunteers to help us beautify the campus. We are going to repaint the 10 portable classrooms in early June and plant trees and put in a small walking path in the Fall. If you are available the first 3 weeks of June and like to paint, we need your help! No experience required, just a desire to help the community. Other projects will begin in the Fall, after school has started.

There is no training requirement and no materials required. We are looking for at least a half-day commitment over a 2 weekend period to finish the painting.

Volunteers will work with the following groups
Adults (26-54)  Young Adults (18-25)
We need volunteers who are free at these times
One-Time  Weekends
This volunteer opportunity is available to the following types of volunteers

Large Group (11+)

 Take MoPac South to Slaughter Lane. Go Right on Slaughter Lane. Continue to the light at Escarpment Blvd. Go Left at Escarpment. Go down Escarpment to the next light. This is LaCrosse Avenue. Make a Left at LaCrosse Avenue. Kiker Elementary is on the right, at the corner of Dahlgreen and LaCrosse. Park on the street in front of the school.
