Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Last updated on November 20, 2012

We are in need of UT scholars to come to our campus to tutor and mentor our students after school from 4:30-5:30pm. You pick what days of the week you would like to volunteer. Our students come from homes where one or both parents did not graduate from high school and are in need of exposure to other young adults who are in college who can provide them with a glimpse of what college life is like and encouragement to seek higher education for themselves. We want to create a fun and rewarding environment that will entice students to come to tutoring so you can start building relationships and mentoring them.

Be enthusiastic and passionate about helping those in need. This is a perfect opportunity for education, math, science, and ELA majors, but we will accept all who are interested. Please visit the website below to complete the background check and feel free to email me if you have any questions.
