Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Last updated on October 22, 2012

Communities for Recovery is always looking for new volunteers who are in recovery from substance abuse. We bring various programming into Austin Recovery, Texas Star, Seton Shoal Creek, and the Austin State Hospital and want to find a program that fits your needs and schedule. I started as a volunteer myself and find it very rewarding to give back to the community that saved my life. We can all help each other on our own path to recovery. Whatever that may look like. If you are interested in giving back, please feel free to contact me. I am here to answer any questions you may have. Cary L Acevedo (512)758-7691.

There is an application on our Website or send me an email information and I can send you the application. There is no minimum sobriety date required although you must be in recovery or have a friend or family member that struggles with addiction.
