The Bullock Texas State History Museum engages the broadest possible audience to interpret the continually unfolding Story of Texas through meaningful educational experiences.
Description:
The Bullock Texas State History Museum has three floors of diverse exhibits designed to provide an experience of Texas history that is both educational and entertaining for all ages and interests. The museum encourages experiential learning through diverse programming and the latest technologies.
History:
The Museum was approved in 1997 by the 75th Texas Legislature and opened in April 2001. The museum is a division of the State Preservation Board. The SPB was established in 1983 by the 68th Legislature for the purpose of preserving, maintaining, and restoring the State Capitol.

Traveling by IH35, exit Martin Luther King, go west on MLK to North Congress Avenue,then turn south at the Museum which is located at MLK and Congress. Parking is available in our underground garage which is entered from the south side of the Museum(18th Street).
