Make a difference in a child’s life. Give your time, so that kids can spend quality time with their parents in a safe environment. Kidshare is a program that helps families in special circumstances, especially those in conflict or going through divorce, by creating a neutral, safe setting where children and parents can spend time together. Volunteers will provide supervision for children at all times during the visit between the parent(s) and child(ren) and take responsibility for the safety of the children. Observe and carefully document the parent and child interaction. Intervene on behalf of the children when necessary. Monitor children before and after visits. Clean up room after visit.

 Qualifications and Experience: Experience with children and families that are high-risk and have experienced domestic violence. Bilingual ability in Spanish is an asset. Reliable scheduling and transportation is necessary. Must be willing to complete a 60-hour training.
 Scheduling Needs: Available during evening and weekend hours. Services are offered Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 5:30-8:30 and Saturdays and Sundays from 8:30-6:30.
