Since its inception in 1946, the National MS Society invested more than $610 million in research.
We are a movement by and for people with MS, moving together toward a world free of multiple sclerosis.

History:
The National Multiple Sclerosis Society was founded as a grassroots effort in 1946 to raise awareness of the disease, provide services and programs to people affected by MS and to fund research in an effort to find a cure for the devastating effects of MS.
