Muir Woods National Monument is having its EARTH DAY celebration!

Come support your National Park! Your help is needed in preserving and restoring this old-growth redwood forest, the last old-growth in the San Francisco Bay Area. Work Day: 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Registration: begins at 8 a. m. Join your fellow volunteers and parks staff for a Complimentary BBQ afterwards! You should bring: Water Sturdy shoes Work gloves Dress in layers Friends and Family Projects to be done: Planting native plants Mulching Trail restoration Beach clean-up Removing invasive vegetation See you there!
