Want to help San Francisco be more prepared for the next earthquake?

Join The Volunteer Center and NERT (Neighborhood Emergency Response Team), on June 26, 2004, betweem 08:00 AM - 12:00 PM, for the annual NERT Citywide Disaster Exercise. Volunteers will participate as earthquake victims, assist with volunteer intake & registration, act as observers, provide translation services, or be involved in other areas of assistance in the staging areas.
**No prior experience necessary.**

This is opportunity is appropriate for the following types of volunteers:

  • Young Adults (18-25)
  • Adults (26-54)
  • Adults (55+)
  • Individual
  • Families
  • Small Group (2-10)
  • Large Group (11+)
  • Court-appointed

    The exercise will take place at Marina Middle School, 3500 Fillmore Street, San Francisco, CA 94123
