Bridging Communities... Check Out This Fun, Family Oriented Event!

Today, 1 in 4 Bay Area families can't make ends meet. Bridging Communities will help change those odds. On Sunday, April 22, 2007, 3,000 people will join hands across the Golden Gate bridge to help fight poverty and create opportunities for families to thrive. 100% of event proceeds benefit the United Way’s Bay Area Community Fund, which serves Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo and Solano Counties. More than 300 volunteers will be needed to make Bridging Communities a success. Volunteering will be a great opportunity for community-minded inidivduals to make a real impact in their community while having a ton of fun at the same time! Your participation matters.
