Description:
We are a center based head start program that operates Monday through Friday from 7:00a.m. to 5:00p.m. We begin services in mid-June and continue until the middle of November and we serve the migrant farmworkers. The children we serve are from 6 weeks to 5 years old. We are located at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church on 18th Ave NW. Some of our key features are; Early Childhood Education, Certified Teachers, Nutritious Meals, Transportation, Medical and Dental on site, Volunteer Activities, Mental Health and Parent Involvement.

History:
We have been operating our Rochester program for the last seven summers. The first summer we only operated a home base program. The next year we housed our first center based program at Bethel Lutheran Church where we served 20 children. The next five years we have operated our center based at Mount Olive Lutheran Church. This past summer we also included our families from the Plainview area to better serve them. We have continue to grow from the first year of serving only 20 children to serving 75 children last summer.
