Agency - Ability Building Center

The Abilities Unlimited day program offers a full day of structured activities and supervision designed to maximize the physical and emotional health of its participants.

Description:
Adults between 18 and 65 who have acquired physical and or cognitive impairments as a result of traumatic brain injury, stroke, multiple sclerious, accident, or a variety of other conditions, are eligible for service.

Participants are offered a variety of daily activities tailored to meet their specific needs, interests and schedules. All activities are designed to enhance the participant's cognitive, social and communication skills. Program components include independent living skills support, cognitive and physical fitness, personal care and wellness, community integration, leisure education, peer support, behavior management, communication and social skills training.

History:
Abilities Unlimited is part of Ability Building Center. Ability Building Center has been offering vocational rehabilitation and production services in Southeastern Minnesota since 1956. Incorporated as a not-for-profit corporation governed by a volunteer board of directors, ABC is committed to continued excellence in service to those individuals and businesses utilizing our services.

Ability Building Center has been serving people with disabilities since 1956. Twenty years of our 45 year history have been in Houston County.
