Each month we distribute over 950 boxes of commodity food to in-need mothers, children and seniors throughout our region as part of its Nutrition Assistance Program for Seniors (NAPS) and Mother and Children (MAC) programs. This requires the monthly packing of a USDA-selected menu into 950 boxes. more
Volunteers come to our warehouse in Old Brooklyn and pack groceries for delivery to homebound clients. We are forming 1 team of 3 volunteers that will pack groceries for 2 hours on the 4th Wednesday of every month from 1-3 pm. more
Pack Kits of Food for Children who receive a weekly supply of food as part of our BackPack Program. Each week we distribute nearly 1,000 bags of ready-to-eat food to children throughout our region. This requires regular packing of foods into 1,000 small bags. more
