Volunteer Opportunity - Classroom Volunteer

Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Our teachers need volunteers inside the classroom. These volunteers might work with the students one-on-one in reading, math, or any other subject the teacher requests help; or they might work with the teachers to develop activities effective for their students. School hours are 9-2, Monday-Friday. Volunteers are especially needed from 12-2, but every time is needed.

All volunteers must submit an application, provide 3 references, and undergo a background check and TB test. After this is completed, a 2-hour training is provided with the program support specialist, and then a volunteer will be placed inside the classroom.
