Looking For The World’s Most Fabulous Volunteer Coordinator!

Actively recruit volunteers for a variety of positions
Represent AWLA at volunteer fairs, employment fairs, and other tabling opportunities
Create Volunteer Position Descriptions as necessary
Be the point person for volunteers and press contacting the AWLA in regards to volunteerism
Receive and respond promptly to emails and phone calls from volunteers and press
Match volunteers appropriately to the correct position for their skills
Requirements:
Working computer with internet access
Working Phone
The ability to work well with a diverse population of volunteers
Experience and comfort with public speaking
Enthusiastic, positive attitude
Time Requirements:
We estimate this position will take 10-15 hours per week but for the right person may vary
Availability for all (if not most) of the last Fridays of the month when Art Walk is held
