Volunteer Opportunity Details:

Our railroad museum has a large amount of historical artifacts and archival material including photographs, books, narrow gauge railroad ephemera and documents. These items need to be identified, catalogued, sorted and organized. Would you like to help? You may also help to design and create museum displays!

Directions:

MNGRR is located at the foot of Munjoy Hill along the waterfront. Exit Rte 295 at the Franklin Arterial and follow to the end. Turn left onto Commercial Street and follow around to the left onto India Street. At the first intersection, turn left onto Fore Street. Less than 1/4 mile from that point, turn right at the 58 Fore Street industrial complex, identified by the Portland Company sign on the brick buildings. Follow train signs to The Maine Narrow Gauge Railroad museum located on the waterfront side.   Nearest Bus Stop: India St.and Fore Street, 5 minute walk
