Share Our Strength’s Cooking Matters is a groundbreaking nutrition education program that has connected families with food by teaching them how to prepare healthy, tasty low-cost meals since 1993.

Cooking Matters (formerly Operation Frontline) and its hundreds of volunteer instructors have conducted more than 4,300 courses, helping more than 51,500 low-income families in communities across the country learn how to eat better for less.

Today, eighty-five percent of Cooking Matters participants graduate from our courses, taking with them the improved nutrition practices, eating habits, and cooking and food budgeting skills they learned in Cooking Matters classes. Cooking Matters has received special recognition from the U.S. Department of Agriculture for excellence in nutrition education. For more information visit www.cookingmatters.org/mass.

BECOME A VOLUNTEER!
