Compassionate Care Hospice is seeking people who want to make a difference in the lives of patients and families throughout the North Shore, Merrimack Valley,the greater Boston area, the South Shore, and the Worcester area. Volunteers are an integral part of the care team and can provide the invaluable gifts of companionship and support to individuals wherever they call home, be it a facility or at home with family.

Opportunities include visiting, reading, singing, listening or helping with small chores. Volunteers with specific gifts in the areas of music, art, meditation, Reiki, aromatherapy and pet therapy are also encouraged to apply.

Primary qualifications are a compassionate heart, interest in learning and growing and a wish to make a difference in the lives of others. Training is required with on-going support provided throughout the volunteer's experience.

Complete a training, pass a mandatory background check, complete medical clearances including a Tuberculosis screening.
