Boston Partners in Education is looking for volunteers to tutor and mentor students in the Boston Public Schools. Volunteers will work one-on-one or with a small group of students for an hour a week during the school day. Opportunities are available in all grades (K-12) in either English Language Arts or math. Boston Partners in Education provides training in subject matter as well as mentoring that will help to ensure a happy and successful match. We are required by the Boston Public Schools to run a CORI/SORI background check on each potential volunteer; this background check is run at no cost to you. By public transportation:
Take the T to the South Station stop on the red line. Transfer to the Silver Line Way outbound, and take the underground bus to Courthouse Station. After getting off the bus, use the escalators to the right to get to the upper level of the station. Proceed to the next set of escalators on the left. After exiting the glass building, walk around to the back of the building and take a right, walking across the parking lot towards Farnsworth Street. Once you reach the edge of the parking lot and the end of Farnsworth Street, you will see a red brick building across the street. This is 44 Farnsworth Street. Take the elevator to the 7th floor and check in with the receptionist.
