The Halifax Council on Aging is a volunteer, 5-person committee, working with the Council on Aging Director to supply services and programs for those who are 60 years of age or older and to those in need, at any age. The Council meets once a month, but additional meetings and hours may be needed. The Council is working with the Town's Building Committee on a plan for a new Council on Aging facility.

There are no qualifications or limitations for this opportunity. Volunteers should be interested in programs and services for the elderly and should be able to attend meetings.
