This volunteer committee would review the operations of the town both organizationally and functionally. The organizational review would involve an analysis of all Town Departments, Boards, Commissions and Committees. This would include staffing and workload. This would involve producing a document showing:
Number of employees (members) in an organization Type of employee (full time, part time, volunteer) Number of hours worked by each employee Number of supervisors
The functional review will be a detailed review of all functions (processes) within the Town. The committee would then make recommendations for any changes.
While not required, an interest in the structure and functions of municipal government is helpful. Experience with similar organizations would also be helpful. This opportunity is sponsored by: Town Of Halifax
