A Different Perspective Inc. is an Offender and Family Resource Services Agency. Established in 2000 as an Advocacy Organization committed to working with Lawmakers and others Justice Reform, Grass Roots, and Faith-Based Organizations, building the Bridge in the Gap in Services for Offenders Re-Entering Community following satisfying Prison Sentences.
History:
We began our work in 1997, and officially incorporated in 2000, working with Lawmakers and others Justice Reform, Grass Roots, and Faith-Based Organizations building the Bridge in the Gap in Services for Offenders Re-Entering Community satisfying Prison Sentences. A Different Perspective Inc., founded in 2000 is an Advocacy, Public Policy, Service and Education Agency working with Families whose dynamics may include struggles with Homelessness, being Court Involved; working through Recovery and Recovering, surviving, and thriving with Mental Health concerns. Our Public Policy, Advocacy and Education history includes Authoring the Evidence-Based Offender Re-Entry Collaborative Continuum Service Model operating in the State of Connecticut today. This Model approach is working as the New Paradigm in Human Services Service integration and personal re-integration for offenders and their families.
