Connect & Serve's user-friendly design has many features to increase the visibility of opportunities across the state, including a quick search function highlighting impact areas, an easy zip-code radius search, and a monthly service projects calendar.

All volunteer opportunities are promoted through a statewide collaboration with volunteer connector agencies to build awareness to a wider audience in all regions of the state.

About the Massachusetts Service Alliance

The Massachusetts Service Alliance (MSA), established in 1991, is a private, nonprofit organization that serves as the state commission on service and volunteerism. Our mission is to catalyze the growth and innovation of service and volunteerism by creating partnerships that maximize resources, expertise, capacity, and impact.

MSA supports quality service and volunteerism opportunities in the Commonwealth for people of all ages, resulting in stronger communities and more active citizens. With MSA support, each year thousands of people serve as corps members, mentors, and volunteers across the Commonwealth tutoring and mentoring children, cleaning up beaches, restoring and maintaining trails, building affordable housing, and providing legal assistance to low income families.
