Volunteer Opportunity: EACC will be offering a Summer Day Camp beginning on Monday, June 24th and ending on Friday, August 16th for youth 5 - 15 years of age.

(1) Summer Volunteer Opportunity: Receptionist: Attend to visitors and deal with inquiries on the phone and face to face. Supply information regarding the organization to the general public, clients and customers.  Attend to cashier needs for museum admission, donations, and memberships.
(2) Summer Volunteer Opportunity: Shop Attendant: Attendant and cashier sought in historical museum featuring unique merchandise focused on local & regional history. Includes printed materials, art, textiles, Lenape items, and others. We value opportunities to talk with our customers and to mingle with staff and friends interested in the rich history of our area. A committee of interested shop keepers enjoy helping select merchandise. Helaine Sigal (of Sigal's Bridal Salon) heads the shop.

(3) Summer Volunteer Opportunity: Library Researcher and Assistant:
The extensive holdings of the Northampton County Historical and Genealogical Society are housed in the new Sigal Museum in downtown Easton. Documents include original deeds, early maps, family histories, rare books, and a host of other rare and valuable archival documents.
Genealogical research is conducted for patrons utilizing in-house and external resources under the direction of our professional librarian.
Volunteers help with a variety of duties including professional research, basic computer entry, handling of correspondence, copying, and general care of the stacks and resources. Volunteers enjoy exposure to the interesting library resources and the fascinating people who visit to learn about their past and the history of the area.
Dates-Days-Times: Tuesday - 9:30AM - 3:00PM Friday (divided into 2 shifts)
Training Date: Training and ongoing direction is provided by the librarian.
There is flexibility regarding duties based on the volunteer's interests, past training, and availability. It is our goal to provide a satisfying experience for our volunteers.

(4) Summer Volunteer Opportunity: Odds 'n' Ends -Help set up for events and tear down after events. These events are not an everyday thing.   
 Also we have several buildings that needs some sprucing up on the outside, windows cleaned, weeding in gardens and yard waste.

Volunteer Opportunity: Exhibit floor volunteers are enthusiastic, curious people who inspire visitors to enjoy the wonders of science around them. These volunteers should be comfortable speaking with individuals and groups and working on the floor for up to four straight hours. Volunteers need not be rocket scientists, or any kind of scientists, but need to • Be an effective communicator • Demonstrate ways to explore exhibits • Guide groups from one area to another • Restore exhibit floor • Follow & promote all safety guidelines • Should be able to work on the exhibit floor for up to 4 hours • Enjoy working with visitors of all ages • Smile & have fun!
