The Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania seeks volunteers interested in interpreting the Museum’s Norfolk Southern Cab Simulator. The Cab Simulator gives Museum visitors a first-hand view of engineering a locomotive. Volunteers are asked to assist visitors with this interactive experience and make sure the equipment is treated with respect. This is an ongoing volunteer position that is available seven days a week: Monday-Saturday from 9 AM-5 PM and Sunday from 12-5 PM. Volunteers in this position should enjoy working with various ages, have a friendly demeanor, and be able to stand for longer periods of time. No prior knowledge of railroading is required; all volunteers will be trained when starting in this position.
