At both People First functions and Arc events, there is a need for a volunteer photographer to preserve visually the key moments and people involved. The local newspaper cannot always send a photographer, when Arc requests one. The Program Coordinator needs your help taking photos, so that she can followup with articles for newspaper, periodicals, web sites, our newsletter. Your skill and talent for taking quality photographs are needed. Often people have a hobby in photography but not a practical way to share it. Volunteering at Arc would give you that opportunity to share.

A volunteer would need to preferably own a digital camera, be familiar and comfortable taking photographs, and willing to follow instructions from the Program Coordinator as to photos needed. However, the photographer could also look for photo compositions beyond the basic ones. A skilled photographer often tries to achieve artistry in his or her shots.
