Volunteer Opportunity Details:
| Last updated on January 8, 2013 |
The Linn County Fair operates entirely on donations and volunteers to make it happen. We need volunteers to help us research and write proposals for grants that help us expand and improve our fair. We want to be able to offer the use of the fairground and its facilities year around. We need to build an all-weather multi-purpose building. Our fair focus is on Education, youth, families and agriculture. Thus that is our focus in obtaining grants. If you are good at researching using the Internet or any other source or have a way with words in writing proposals we can use your help. Anyone going into a legal profession will benefit from learning how and then writing proposals.
A good working knowledge of how to use the Internet to do research. This in it's self will be a learning experience for all. So it will be On-The-Job Training. This opportunity is sponsored by: The Linn County Fair
