Opportunities with The Linn County Fair

We need colored vests for Fair Ambassadors, Ushers and other volunteers who donate their time for the fair. Our volunteers need to be easily identified so the public can locate them and get their assistance. Also need banners made for each township & neighborhood in Linn county. more

Greet the public and give directions and information for events and locations on the 2013 Linn County Fair. Some may operate the gatehouse. Providing information and selling tickets to events. Check volunteers in & out. more

We need help in planning, planting and taking care of the gardens on the fair grounds. This can start immediately and go throughout the summer. The 2013 Linn County Fair runs from June 26 to July 1, at the Linn County Fair Grounds, just south of Central City. more

The Linn County Fair operates entirely on donations and volunteers to make it happen. We need volunteers to help us research and write proposals for grants that help us expand and improve our fair. We want to be able to offer the use of the fairground and its facilities year around. We need to build an all-weather multi-purpose building. I am looking for volunteers who are willing to serve on the Beautification Committee for The Linn County Fair. We would like to see more gardens on the fair grounds. We need to have the entire Linn County Fairgrounds policed of trash, twigs and large branches. We also need to cut down low-hanging branches. more
