Open 24/7, 365 days a year, the 2-1-1 Texas/United Way HELPLINE is staffed by trained call center specialists who speak a variety of languages and find real answers for callers as they work the most comprehensive database of social service in the state.

* The 2-1-1 Texas/United Way HELPLINE is not only one of the state's most powerful resources, it's the largest of its kind in the country, answering more than 802,000 calls for help in 2010
* Call specialists have comprehensive knowledge in areas such as basic needs, physical and mental health, work support, child care, counseling and disaster recovery, to name a few.
* If you know someone who needs help, please have them call 2-1-1.
