The Duluth Cross-Country Ski Club promotes healthy lifestyles, fitness, and fun through cross-country skiing by providing programs, events, and informational resources to the community.
Description:
DXC offers ski education programs for youth and adults and puts on special events, including ski tours and ski races. DXC volunteers help maintain local ski trails and we partner with the City of Duluth on trail improvement projects. Our website serves as a clearinghouse for news & information related to cross-country skiing in Duluth.
History:
DXC was founded in 2004 and received 501(c)3 status in 2005. We have a 9-member board of directors and no paid staff. Our annual membership is 200+ households. Most programs are open to everyone, member or non-member. Some programs & events are fee-based, others are free.
