

Walk To D'Feet ALS
Both Volunteers and Walkers are needed. For more information on volunteer opportunities, see the event calendar on the Office of Community Service website. ALS, also known as Lou Gehring's Disease, is a major health crisis. The number of people being diagnosed with ALS continues to grow at an alarming rate. Based on U.S. population studies, over 5,600 people in the U.S. are diagnosed with ALS each year. Currently there is no cure. The Walk to D-Feet ALS will be held Saturday, September 30, 2006 at Centennial Olympic Park.
