Salvation Army Angel Tree
| The Salvation Army needs individual students and student group volunteers to help with its Angel Tree Christmas assistance program. Volunteers are needed for each of three stages: registration, sorting, and distribution. Registration (volunteers should be comfortable with basic computer use): September 26-October 7: 12 volunteers for each of three shifts: 9am-noon, 1pm-4pm, and 5pm-8pm. Sorting (volunteers should be able to lift and move light to medium weight packages): December 5-16: 25 volunteers for each of two shifts: 8:30am-12:30pm and 12:30pm-4:30pm. Distribution (volunteers will be handing out gift bags to families): December 17, 19-21: 25 volunteers for each of two shifts: Sat/Mon 9am-12:30pm, and Tues/Wed 12:30pm-4pm. |
